Kahukura Hawke's Bay holds activities and events to compliment the programme of exhibitions, as well as film festivals in the Kahukura Hawke's Bay Century Theatre.

Napier is also fortunate to have thriving performing arts venues and groups, delivering high calibre local and touring dance, musicals, drama, classical and popular music concert shows. The nearby Napier Municipal Theatre is the hub of much of this, and is another example of elegant Art Deco style, combined with modern theatre facilities.
