29th Hawke's Bay Wine Auction
In 2020 the Hawke's Bay Wine Auction celebrates and recognises 29 years of wineries producing exceptional and sought-after auction lots. The event boasts 40+ exceptional Auction lots, with an abundance of unique wines, amazing art from Hawke's Bay-born contemporary artist, Anna Jepson, and an extraordinary travel package.
Regarded as New Zealand’s premium wine event for its pedigree and uniqueness of offerings this is not an event to be missed. Come along to taste the superb wines, chat to many of the country’s finest winemakers and growers, then raise your paddles and bid for the offerings that capture your attention.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday 19 September 2020. This is your opportunity to walk away with some of Hawke’s Bay’s finest wines.
In 2019, the Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction raised and gifted $241,000 to the Cranford Hospice.

The pre-tasting event presents an opportunity for the customers to sample auction lots prior to the main auction event a month later. Sip the impressive line up of auction lot wines, taste nibbles by Dish Catering and enjoy great company.

The main event begins with your opportunity to wander the room speaking with many of HB’s talented winemakers while tasting the wine they have on auction, our Event Ambassador – Mike McRoberts will also be mingling and chatting with guests. This is followed by the fun and lively auction, raise your paddles to walk away with some of Hawke’s Bay’s finest wines, one travel package or our feature art piece.
